Melrose Elementary uses parent volunteers to run our valet drop-off program in the morning, plan and manage family fun events, and maintain our beautiful gardens.  

LAUSD Volunteer Approval Process

Per LAUSD policy, any person interested in participating in our volunteer program, including continuing volunteers, LAUSD employees, community members and interns, must complete the online volunteer application on the School Volunteer Management System:   LAUSD Volunteer Application Volunteer App Link

All volunteers must also provide clearance of tuberculosis (TB). 

This process must be completed annually.  However, your TB clearance is good for five years.
